Comedy Class Returns to Prime Video with High Stakes and Even Sharper Punchlines
Season 2 of the stand-up talent show lands September 26 with Éric & Ramzy, a star-studded jury, and a brutal new rule that raises the tension.
Comedy Class Season 2: Prime Video Doubles Down on Stand-Up with Tougher Rules and Star Power
Prime Video has officially announced the return of its original stand-up competition Comedy Class. Season 2 will premiere on Friday, September 26, 2025, with a new cast of rising comedians — and a format that promises more pressure, laughs, and star-studded mentorship.
Created by ITV Studios France, the show aims to spotlight the next wave of French-speaking stand-up talent. Leading the class once again are comedy icons Éric Judor and Ramzy Bedia, who return as hosts and mentors with their trademark offbeat energy.
Joining them this season is a high-profile jury featuring Call My Agent! star Jonathan Cohen, César-winning actress Valérie Lemercier, rising stand-up star Paul Mirabel, and crowd favorite Laura Felpin. Together, they’ll evaluate each comic’s progress and push them to deliver standout performances.
12 Comics, 4 Challenges, and a Ruthless New Rule
The competition will bring together 12 up-and-coming comedians selected for their boldness and unique comedic voices. Over the course of the season, they’ll have to tackle four key performance themes:
Carte blanche
Absurdist comedy
Dark humor
The art of the roast
But the biggest twist? A brand-new two-strike system that changes everything.
One warning puts contestants on thin ice. Two? Immediate elimination — no redemption. The stakes are high, and with a €50,000 prize waiting for the winner, every joke counts.
A Two-Part Release Strategy
Prime Video will release the season in two batches: the first five episodes drop on September 26, with the final episodes airing the following week, on October 3.
After the sleeper hit success of Season 1, Comedy Class is now positioning itself as one of France’s most exciting platforms for emerging stand-up voices — with a format that's as funny as it is unforgiving.
